Dear Delegates of CALSMUN'26,

 

It is my great plesure to welcome to our conference. As the Secretary-General of this precious conference, I am honored to be a part of this journey and to welcome all of you to what we hope will be an unforgettable experience.

Our Secretariat and Organization Teams have put in countless hours to make sure CALSMUN’26 is an unforgettable experience for every participant. Every decision we have taken on this journey has had one goal, to create a conference where delegates can challenge themselves, share their ideas with confidence and feel truly welcome. We believe that every delegate comes to our conference with a unique perspective that deserves to be heard on equal terms as everyone else. So we work to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable being themselves, forming meaningful connections and fully embracing the spirit of Model United Nations. We hope that this conference will be a platform not only for debate and diplomacy but also for memories and friendships to last a lifetime.

Throughout the conference, you will have the opportunity to enhance your public speaking skills, build your confidence as a delegate and engage in stimulating discussions. Beyond the sessions you will meet inspiring people, form valuable friendships and make unforgettable memories. We consider this conference to be a place for diplomatic debate, but also a place for delegates to grow personally and academically. As you leave here to take on the challenges and opportunities ahead, we hope that the experience and lessons you learn here will stay with you long after the conference is over.
